Performed in English with a Latin beat, this enchanting musical play blends the traditions of Mexican street theatre and Latin jazz. Gracie is a young girl who joins her neighborhood posada on Christmas Eve. Along the way, she and her companions encounter colorful characters, including chocolate-gobbling sisters, graveyard spooks and a heartthrob rock singer.

The Nevada Desert. 1847. The tiny town of San Lorenzo is terrorized by a ruthless villain named Lagarto. He has brutally murdered the town's sheriff, kidnapped his sixteen-year-old daughter Lucinda, and turned her into a killing machine with a taste for human flesh. The people of San Lorenzo are too weak to fight, but Miranda Coolidge, owner of the local saloon has something Lagarto wants-- a secret treasure that the late sheriff hid somewhere in the desert, and when a stranger with a mysterious past blows into town, she and the local preacher find real reason to hope.

The film is written/co-directed by Jojo Henrickson (writer of the critically acclaimed film, Ladron Que Roba A Ladron from Lionsgate) and produced by John Estrada (selected as a 2009 Producing Fellow for Project: Involve, Film Independent). Azurdia is a Los Angeles native whose inherent ability to portray a wide range of characters has led him to much work in TV, film and over 40 theater productions. Azurdia is most recognized for his role of 'Primitivo' in Lionsgate's acclaimed film LADRON QUE ROBA A LADRON. Azurdia’s other credits include recurring as 'Davenport' on Showtime's WEEDS and the lead in the award winning film AMERICA 101.

GB2525 was written and co-directed by Jojo Henrickson (writer of the critically acclaimed film, Ladron Que Roba A Ladron from Lionsgate) and produced by John Estrada (a 2009 Film Independent Producing Fellow) of New Legacy Entertainment. The special effects and visual look of the film were conceived by Kieron Estrada, who served as co-director, cinematographer, production designer and visual effects supervisor.

GB2525 also features a talented and diverse cast of American Latino actors.
